Rafael BARON (b. 1986, Brazil)
The faces in all of Rafael Baron's paintings are almost identical: a hard-to-fathom expression, large, puffy lips and dark, almost closed eyes. The personality of the subject is not defined by facial features but by the bright, varied clothing, hairstyles, accessories and skin tones. For Rafael Baron, art is an effective tool that can contribute to the creation of a harmonious community, encouraging an open dialogue about tolerance and social diversity.
