Jordy Kerwick (b. 1982, Melbourne, Australia) is a self-taught painter who lives and works in France. He began his painting career in 2016. His expressive compositions of bright colour and pattern depict domestic objects, predatory animals and mythical creatures – tigers, double-headed cobras, unicorns. The work offered by the gallery, Saint Joanie the Gambler (2019), is a large-format (160 × 140 cm) painting in oil and acrylic.
